The breads and sandwiches are always made with fresh ingredients, many great dessert choices, my favorite is the huge chocolate chip cookies. The customer service is amazing, the Staff always greats the customers with a smile. A must stop if you are in North Scituate.

Best food in the south shore. They do intentionally take the phone off the hook when the start their day at 11 so don't bother calling them EVER because they do not use there phone until about ten minutes before closing the MIGHT pick it up if they choose to put it back on the hook at the point which they rarely do.... seriously amazing at sandwiches it would be great if they accepted the 19th century and used the phone. Do they have an irrational fear of phones or is it an attempted at creating artificial exclusivity and demand probably just a weird passive aggressive power move it is in the south shore, but that behavior is more Hingham idk

I knew the worker taking my order wasn’t paying attention when I gave her my order. Specifically said no onions or tomatoes...sandwich came with both. Never asked if I wanted to eat there or take food out, we were eating there.?Gave me a look as if I had three heads when I asked if anything came with the sandwiches, not even a handful of chips, had to buy additional bags of chips. With that said Sandwiches were very good. Bought 2 “mini” cupcakes, $3each, that were dry and tasted like they were at least a week old.

The sandwiches are not as good as it used to be. The cookies are still the Best.

This is is the best place for sandwiches....You name it it will be delicious! If you are looking for a new place for lunch I would defiantly go here!

In the plaza the Circe's Grotto is the furthest to the left in the plaza. I stopped in for a quick bite and I arrived 8 minutes before closing and the gentlelady Susan was just a doll. More welcoming than ever she was patient with me and was very thoughtful to include napkins and a smile. I will have to return for the breakfast burrito action. There is plenty of parking here, but the inside seating area is kind of small. The front door has this rustic feel about it. And the Red Velvet Cupcakes are sweet and moist. #yummy

This place is amazing!!! I went for the first time yesterday and will skip on Groucho's microwave subs forever and Caviar and Banana's high prices for Crice's gourmet sub.

Holy moly this spot was amazing. A breath of fresh air. Again. Another spot I had never been too in Scituate. I had no idea it was even here, but man oh man was it incredible. It is small so if you can maybe get carryout. But in all seriousness you need to get her and try something. ASAP!

Circe's is by far the best sandwich shop in scituate. Around lunch time, the wait is pretty long but we'll worth it. Circe's makes a mean cubano, 10/10.

You gotta love Circe's Grotto. From soup to sandwiches to baked goods, Sue puts out a first rate product. Some people complain about the service or the wait, and they can eat elsewhere!

This place is not okay. It is actually the best and the worst. The food is unbeatable and the service makes you feel like you've been beaten. I go there often because it truly is the best food around. But I hate myself for it every time.
